Read Before Posting (Rules, Etc.)

Welcome! Before making any posts, please read this in its entirety:

Usually all Dystopia Rising players are encouraged to leave game at game, but Summer 2019 is special case: we have an in-game 3-year timeskip between the 2.0 and 3.0 rules systems. That means we only have a few short months to get through 3 entire years of headcanons about what our characters did and how they changed.

To that end, this forum is a place to facilitate making collaborative Dystopia Rising stories together, and maybe even make it easier to find people to write them with. (And of course you can also post stories of your own.)

A few strong suggestions:

• Make sure to keep tabs on the latest information your chapter is posting. It's likely 3.0 information will be released in multiple parts, and it'd suck to have to retcon something you wrote.
  
• Try to have your adventures take place in locations you or other players made up. Unless specifically stated by your local chapter's plot, there's no guarantee that canon 2.0 locations will still exist in 3.0!
  
• Know that these stories are non-canon and won't result in any changes to your character sheet. That said, there's always a chance your local plotmakers will see stories you write here and keep them in mind for plot-related decisions in the future. (No guarantees, though! If there's something you definitely want them to see, be sure to write a backstory and submit it to your local chapter's website.)
  
• When we get into the swing of 3.0, there will be a section to post all the game memory write-ups you want, but remember again to try to limit soft RP and keep game at game.
  

And a couple rules:

• Please adhere to the Code of Conduct. Anything that isn't allowed at game isn't allowed here.
  
• If you need rules clarifications, or anything official of any sort, please contact your local chapter. This forum is unofficial and solely for fanfics.
